Kais Saied fires Gabes governor – The North Africa Post

Tunisia’s President Kais Saied Thursday fired the governor of the Southeastern governorate of Gabes after the state official has been indicted for “unlawful actions.”

Mosbah Kardamine was appointed Gabes Governor in June 2021 in alternative of Mongi Thameur additionally fired by Saied.

Previous to the announcement of the dismissal, a primary presidential decree indicated that Kardamine has been indicted by the ministry of justice for a number of “unlawful actions” he allegedly carried out.
