The Ivorian Orienteering Federation (FICO) organized a contest in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism as a part of the challenge “Babi’s Leisure Weekend”on Saturday March 18 within the Banco forest in Abidjan.
This discovery weekend introduced collectively greater than 300 younger individuals from all areas of Côte d’Ivoire who competed within the sport of orienteering. Kéita Mamadou, from the leisure, amusement parks and digital video games division, mentioned he was captivated with this collaboration which has enabled many younger individuals to have time like at a campsite. Permitting younger individuals to find new adventures by means of orienteering is an innovation that FICO has dropped at this 2023 version.
