On her 56th birthday, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has celebrated with his wife, the First Lady of Lagos, Dr. (Mrs.) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.
Dr. Sanwo Olu is a medical doctor by trade. He turns 56 today, January 8.
Governor Sanwo-Olu in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Gboyega Akosile, on Sunday, described his wife as “a jewel of inestimable value, my partner, prayer warrior.”
The Governor described his wife as a strong supporter, courageous, kind-hearted, and strong pillar of courage. He also noted that Dr. Ibijoke Sanwoolu had touched millions of Nigerians, particularly Lagosians, first as a doctor and now as First Lady of Nigeria.
“Today, on behalf of the good people of Lagos State, I celebrate a jewel of inestimable value, my partner, prayer warrior, mother of my children and the First Lady of Lagos, Dr. Claudiana Ibikunle Sanwo-Olu.
“You have complimented the roles that God has given us now with all sense of dignity. You have put all you know into work and I can see your complementary role. We are truly grateful to be able to serve Lagos State in such a moment.
“I thank you for your support, your time and contribution to the Greater Lagos agenda. I also want to thank you for your extraordinary contributions to the family, the medical profession and Lagos State.
“Happy birthday my darling wife. We are grateful to you for your selflessness and strength in the service and governance that Lagos State requires. I wish you all the very best in life”, Governor Sanwo-Olu prayed.
