Michelle Kirov, Trade Ocean Shipping Namibia’s marketing director, was presented with the industry recognition award at the Namibian ports Authority (Namport), port users breakfast at Walvis Bay on Friday.
This award recognizes exceptional individuals who have made significant contributions in the advancement of the maritime industry at Walvis Bay.
The winner of the award represents the most influential minds within the field transport and logistics.
Maersk Namibia Logistics Support Services, Sturrock Grindrod Maritime and Trade Ocean Shipping were the top five revenue-based customers.
The top five volume-based clients included Walvis Bay Salt Refiners (Puma Energy), Sturrock Grindrod Maritime (Walvis Bay Bulk Terminal) and Logistics Support Services (Logistics Support Services).
XYZ Investment CC was, Zephyr Investments CC was and Cross Border Vehicle Traders CC was recognized as the top small and medium enterprise clients.
