CAN U23-Preliminaries: Rwanda overthrows Libya, Togo and Burkina pass
Sensation for second leg of the first round CAN U23 qualifiers, between Rwanda and Libya. Defeated 4-1 in their first leg, Les AmavubiU23 defeated the Libyans at the home on Tuesday 27 September to win the return leg. They have won 3-0 and are now eligible for the next round.
Togo is also included in this list. The Eperviers won 2-0 at home after being defeated by Mauritania in the first leg (0-1). They have thus confirmed their ticket.
Mozambique also qualified for the second round of CAN U23 qualifiers. The Mozambicans won the first leg of the CAN U23 qualifiers (3-0) and they regained their lead over the islanders. They won a new 2-1 win over their opponents.
It is also available in the pocket the Burkina Faso. Their victory (1-2) against Gambia on Tuesday in the return match validated their ticket. They lost 1-0 at their home in the first leg.
The DR Congo, who won Ethiopia (1-0) at home after a draw in the first leg, is one of the teams that has qualified for the second round.
