Kajiado West Member in Parliament George Sunkuiya successfully defended his seat.
Sunkuiya, who ran on an UDA ticket, received 19,176 votes against his nearest rival Moses Konana of the ODM who managed 19,065 votes.
Jacob Gitau, PPK, got 12,274 vote, Joseph Simel, Jubilee, 7,239 vote, Moses Parantai, DPK, 349, and Sironka Muge (Safina), 99 vote.
Everlyne Nyata from Kajiado West Constituency returned officer announced the Parliamentary results, before Sunkuiya received the certificate.
Sunkuiya will be back in Parliament for a second term, this time as the Member for Kajiado West.
According to the IEBC Kajiado West Constituency is home to 75,173 voters.
