Two suspects were arrested by the police in connection to the robbery of N$1,3million in Windhoek’s Hochland Park neighborhood by a Chinese national on Wednesday.
According to Ismael Basson (Khomas police regional commander deputy Commissioner), the suspects were detained at the Oshivelo checkpoint on Friday morning.
Basson claimed that the suspects were heading to the north.
They were found with an unlicensed firearm.
“The suspects were found with N$200 and US$2 000 in cash,” Basson said.
