Mogadishu (SONNA). The Somali National Army (SNA), recently conducted military operations against Al-Shabaab terrorists from Hiiran.
Senior military officers and regional authorities confirmed that the military operations were successful and liberated 10 villages from Al-Shabab terrorists.
The librated areas can be found between Matabaan, Mahaas and Hiiran regions.
Somali National Army also removed landmines buried by the terrorists on the road between Kalabeyr and Jira’le villages in Hiiran Region
Hiiran governor said that the operation was meant to eradicate Al Shabaab terrorists.
