Senegal, The revelation

Despite the fact that Zambia was eliminated in the quarterfinals (1-1, 4tab2) Senegal This was one of the top teams in the tournament. Yet, Teranga LionessesAfter a decade of absence, I was able to return to the CAN. Times have changed, players too, but national coach Mame Moussa Cissé has established a solid group. A strong team, with a great plan and determination. The Senegalese lost in the quarter-finals with weapons in their hands. The penalty shootout (4tab2, following 1-1) was lost against the Copper QueensYou can knock them out of this race. Senegal is attractive otherwise. Four goals were scored and two conceded. The balance was perfect. Nguenar Ndiaye was the only one who managed to score two goals, despite the four accomplishments. The other goals were scored via penalties.

Cameroon was, however, the biggest disappointment for the CAN. The indomitable lionessesThey were the most offensively weakest of all quarterfinalists. Cameroonian attacks struggled to score only 3 banderillas across four matches. This was also true in the quarter-final against Nigeria, during which Nigeria could not defeat the goal of the tournament. Super FalconsMarked at 56Th minute. The results are not very encouraging with only one victory (against Tunisia), two draws, Togo and Zambia, and one defeat (against Nigeria).

South Africa and Nigeria held their ranks

South Africa and Nigeria were both favorites before the tournament started. South Africa has shown that they can be counted on, and are now on their way towards their sixth final in a Women’s Africa Cup. The South Africans are in group C. Banyana Banyana Nigeria finished ahead. South Africa was victorious in four matches with 7 goals scored, 2 conceded, and sent a strong signal of support to Zambia, their next opponent.

Nigeria’s group C performance was slow. Nigeria lost 2-1 to South Africa. Super FalconsThis CAN will then rise to the top. They kept a 4-0 in Burundi, for example.Th daytime). Nigeria is the most successful country with 9 CANs, and is aiming for a tenth coronation. Morocco is the host country and this mission is difficult. Nigeria scored 8 goals and conceded 2.

Surprises in Morocco and Zambia

We had expected Cameroon to be in the last four, but it is now MoroccoZambia, who invite themselves to the top 4. The Moroccans who are at home are supported by their fans. The Atlas lionesses,Doped, they crush everything that stands in their way. In Group A, the Moroccans were first ahead of Senegal. They won three consecutive matches. Botswana was unable to resist the fury in the quarter-finals. lionessesThey won logically by 2-1. Morocco has the second-best attack, behind Nigeria, their next opponent, with seven goals scored (with South Africa), and two conceded. What a poster!

Zambia couldn’t have hoped for better. They were second in the CAN and reached the semi-finals. The Copper QueensAfter playing in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, they are still in continuity. The Zambians are able to keep their heads down before they unleash the punch. This is especially true for Tunisia (1-0), which scored 92.Thminute) and against Senegal (1-1),Th minute). Executioner for Senegal in quarter-finals, Zambians will have an important piece in next round. Because South Africa is a credible candidate to the final coronation. With 6 goals scored, Zambia has the lowest attacking percentage of all the semi-finalist teams.
