Foreign Affairs CS Amb. After the passing of Ambassador Paddy Ahenda in April, Raychelle Omamo sends condolences to his family and friends.
Ahenda died Sunday at a Qatari hospital. For the last five days, he had been in the intensive care unit.
In a message that she sent to herself and to Amb. Amb. Omamo expressed their deepest sympathies, condolences and sorrow at Macharia Kamau’s passing.
The CS described Ahenda as a distinguished diplomat who served Kenyans with utmost dedication. “We pray to God to rest his soul in eternal peace,” she said.
The deceased, who was a Member of Kasipul Kabondo’s Parliamentary Assembly, was appointed Ambassador to Qatar in 2018 by President Uhuru Kenitta.
