Somali Ministry of Health Releases Update on COVID 19 Infection Test Laboratories – Somali National News Agency
Mogadishu (SONNA) – On 1stJanuary 2022 The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare is responsible to protect and issue the Covid-19 Certificate of Migration. Below is a certification by the Ministry of Health that laboratories that are granted a COVID19 test permit are those that meet all requirements.
COVID19 testing requires that people only travel to obtain screening services at laboratories and sites approved by the ministry. This will cost $30 and the two parties will agree to a service agreement.
NT: Government hospitals won’t test for COVID19 if there are people who are seriously ill or Doctors who suspect they might have the disease. However, COVID19 will be tested in laboratories approved by the department for travellers.
