JSC Appoints Mokaya, Chief Registrar of Judiciary – Kenya News Agency

The Judicial Service Fee (JSC) has appointed Mokaya Frida Boyani, the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary for a five-year time period.

Mokaya was among the many seven candidates shortlisted by the Fee for the place of the Chief Registrar who have been interviewed on Monday 18th March 2024, a place that had attracted a minimum of 43 candidates.

In a press assertion despatched to newsrooms, the Chairperson of JSC, Martha Koome stated Mokaya was appointed following deliberation and cautious consideration of the candidates based mostly on advantage, efficiency and suitability for the place,

“Mokaya who has over 27 years’ expertise within the authorized occupation. Previous to her appointment she has been serving because the Registrar, Judicial Service Fee since 2012,” stated Koome.

Chief Justice Koome stated the brand new Chief Registrar joined the Judiciary in 1997 and served as a District Justice of the Peace II(Prof), Resident Justice of the Peace, Senior Resident Justice of the Peace, Principal Justice of the Peace and Senior Principal Justice of the Peace.
