Mogadishu, (SONNA) – A high-level delegation comprising the Deputy Commissioner of the Somali Catastrophe Administration Company (SoDMA), Dr. Ahmed A. Adan, distinguished delegates from UNOCHA and FAO hailing from New York and Rome, and the esteemed George Conway, the UN DSRSG, Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator to Somalia paid a go to to Dolow district in Gedo Area earlier at the moment.
The target of this expedition is to evaluate the humanitarian conditions within the district and its surrounding areas, with the goal of highlighting the aftermaths of the current droughts and floods, in addition to the present state of affairs, to the worldwide neighborhood.
The aim of the go to is to extend efforts in implementing tasks for catastrophe restoration and resilience, in preparation for the upcoming monsoon season, which poses a possible threat of floods.
