Restore Africa has launched a tree planting and restoration train at Iten grounds aimed toward growing forest cowl in varied components of the nation.

Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Wisley Rotich requested the NGO to interact the area people by all of the Members of County Meeting MCAs and Ward Directors to make sure that the train achieves the target throughout the specified timeframe.

The Governor requested the group to supply all tree seedlings from the County, highlighting that there are adequate seedlings and the native farmers have the capability to produce.

Elgeyo Marakwet County Commissioner Mr. John Korir mentioned that the one technique to salvage the forest cowl from wanton degradation in Elgeyo Marakwet is to inculcate tree planting tradition within the youthful technology.
