A Cairo Legal courtroom has eliminated the identify of the businessman Safwan Thabet, the grandson of outlawed Muslim Brotherhood’s second chief Hassan al-Hudaybi, from the phobia checklist following his launch in mid-January.
Safwan, the founder and former CEO of Juhayna Meals Industries, and his son Seif El-Din have been let loose on January 21 from jail after a two-year detention.
Thabet has been saved in pretrial detention since December 2020 for allegedly becoming a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. His son, the deputy chairman of Juhayna, can be arrested in the identical case in February 2021.
They have been charged for becoming a member of and financing a terrorist group to assist it change the regime by power and for aiding and abetting assaults towards the military and police personnel and their establishments and of harming the economic system.
