The Director revealed that candidates, security personnel and exam invigilators from Malkamansa primary schools in Garbatulla Sub-County had been forced to cross flood waters to reach the exam centres on time.

The total number of candidates in the county is 4386. There are 2275 boys and 2275 girl sitting for KCPE, 4482 for KPSEA and 2255 boys and 2227 respectively. Nyaga says there are two private centres in the region, one at the Prisons Department.
