President Hassan Sheikh arrives Wisil District alongside his delegation – Somali National News Agency

Wisil, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, accompanied by the Ministers of Defence, Internal Affairs, Members of Parliament, the Commander of the National Armed Forces, and the President of Galmudug arrived in the Wisil District in the south of Mudug Region this afternoon.
The president and his delegation were received by officials from Wisil district, Galmudug Darawish officials and the district administration of Wisil.
President Hassan Sheikh thanked the Darawish as well as the local population for their efforts in fighting the Khawarij south of Mudug. He also asked them to take over the areas that are still being used by terrorists.
