President Hassan Sheikh disbands the Judicial and Anti-Corruption Commissions – Somali National News Agency

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud disbanded the Judicial Service Commision, and the Anti-Corruption Commission in a Presidential decree. The President directed the cabinet to form these commissions according to Article 71 of its constitution.
The President indicated that all decisions made by members of the Judicial Service Council or the Independent Anti-Corruption Commission had been cancelled.
This Presidential Decree became effective on October 9, 2022 when it was published in government official pages.
