Mogadishu (SONNA) –In a planned operation, a top leader of Al-Shabab terror organization, who has been wanted by the Somali government for a long time, was killed.

Abdullahi Nadir aka Abdullahi Yare and Ubeyda was one of the co-founders of Al-Qaeda’s linked militants.

He held various posts within Al-Shabaab. He was a Foreign Terrorist Organization (US government) with a $3 Million bounty on his head.

Abdullahi Yare was close with the former ringleader Ahmed Abdi Godane and the current Amir Abu Ubaidah. At this time, he was the head of Da’wa.
