SONNA – The Somali National Army with the help of the local people killed 30 Al-Shabab terrorists in the last operations and liberated almost 15 areas.
The armed forces have carried out a wide range of operations in support of the people who are entitled to fight against the terrorist acts in the region of Galgaduud and Hiran.
Operation Galgaduud: The army and local residents have taken over areas 1. Eel Lahelay, 2. Labi-Dulle, 3. Dhuumoodle, 4. Dhisaqa, 5. Aboorey, 6. Ali Wayd, 7. Maygag Duub in a planned operation.
Al-Shabab attempted to counterattack the army after they had been moved from more that 70 km. However, they were defeated severely and 30 terrorists were killed and more than 55 were injured.
The National Army and locals have completely overthrown Muqakori, a strategic town, in Hiran region.
The army also took over large areas of the Bay region. They are receiving help from the people.
The National Army’s operation and the local people have intensified, and this is the basis for the uprising of the people to overthrow the bloodthirsty Al-Shabab.
The government of Somalia has instructed young Somalians who were wronged under Al-Shabab to give up in order to save lives and not die in the uprising against Al-Shabab terrorists.
