Striking TransNamib workers, Natau breach strike rules – The Namibian

TransNamib workers and Namibia Transport and All Allied Workers’ Union officials (Natau), who were on strike, entered TransNamib premises and threatened employees who hadn’t joined the strike.

TransNamib spokesperson Abigail Raubenheimer said this in a Monday statement.

Raubenheimer said that these actions have made employees who are not on strike feel unsafe in their work environment.

“Additionally, acts of sabotage and malicious damage to property have also taken place, with striking employees damaging company equipment and thereby putting the lives of non-striking employees at risk,” she said.
