PM Hamza closes General Cabinet meeting – Somali National News Agency

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Hamza Abdi Barre, closed the General Cabinet meeting of the Federal Government of Somalia, urged the Ministers to work honestly for the Somali people and lead to a visible change to the country.

The PM said that his office supports all Government Ministries in carrying out their national duties. He encouraged them to work together to build the trust of Somalians in their government. This includes providing security, basic services, and infrastructure development.

“The Somali people are waiting for you to deliver their mission and ensure their trust, which I hope we will succeed. The Prime Minister’s office is working to coordinate, direct and strengthen government agencies, we must finish any drafts of government agencies, we must complete what has been started and work day and night”

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, HE Salah Ahmed Jamaac opened the second day of the General Assembly of the Federal Government of Somalia. Experts, scholars, and senior advisors gave an overview of the process of National Protocol, revision of the Constitution and security and stability of the country to the Assembly.

Also, the two days that the Council of Government was in this General Meeting they analyzed the tasks of the government, the cooperation process of the government agencies, strengthening the implementation of the country’s rules and the understanding of the Sub-Regulations of the Council of Ministers, the protection and implementation of the procedures of the agreements between government agencies with other agencies, improving the process of information sharing between government agencies and unifying information shared with the public.
