Two people fainted and one of them died after they completed their Namibian Defence Force’s (NDF) fitness training at Eenhana on Tuesday.
Petrus Shilumbu from NDF said that after finishing their two-kilometre laps, both the male and female candidates fainted.
“The female fainted, but was fine shortly afterwards. Shilumbu stated that Efraim Nadeshaanya (24), the male candidate, was taken to Eenhana’s hospital immediately he collapsed. “We only learned that he had passed away today,” Shilumbu added.
