Minister of Defence says operations against Al-Shabab terrorists will be sped up – Somali National News Agency

Beledweyn, (SONNA) – Somalia’s Minister of Defense, HE Abdikadir Mohamed Nur said, ”We are committed to speeding up the operations against Al-Shabaab terrorists, which has been going on strongly in recent days in the areas of Hiiran region, and the rest of Somalia”.

”We are asking the people not to hide the enemy who have shed innocent blood, and the Somali people to work with the forces in the front so that the enemy can be put to an end” the Minister said.

The Minister promised that Al-Shabaab would be eradicated from all areas of the country within the next few days.
