Ethiopia shootdown an aircraft supporting TPLF – New Business Ethiopia
The Ethiopian army said its has shootdown an airplane “believed to be owned by Ethiopia’s historical enemies that also supports TPLF (Tigray peoples Liberation Front”, the state-owned Ethiopian News Agency reported a few minutes ago.
After crossing Ethiopian airspace from Sudan, the plane was hit by Ethiopian Airforce. Ethiopia is at loggerheads often siding with Egypt in recent years.
Meanwhile the report didn’t mention who exactly owns the airplane shootdown by Ethiopian army. The report was published hours after the incident. TPLF accuses Ethiopian Army of launching a new attack this morning. According to the report Major General Tesfaye Abeye Ayalew from Ethiopian Army stated that TPLF has been preparing for another round in war for many months. He also said that TPLF had been pushing its troops towards the border to begin war for the past two weeks.
