The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Republic of Somalia, HE Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe, received the British Ambassador to our Somalia, Mrs. Kate Foster in his office.
The Speaker was first informed by the ambassador that the British government was committed to addressing the drought and will support the training of parliamentary staff.
The Speaker expressed gratitude to the British government for its support of the Somali parliament. It will greatly help in the work of Parliament and will give priority to helping with the ongoing drought.
