Golfers get awards at Crystal Inter Club golf gala

Andrew Kulayigye is the captain of Kigali Golf Club and says the 2022 Crystal Liberation Inter Club Golf Challenge competition is one of the events that will boost the sport of golf in Rwanda and beyond.

Kulayigye spoke in an interview with Times Sport during an awards dinner at Serena Hotel in Kigali on Saturday night in which several golfers were given awards after the climax of the tournament that was held at the Kigali Golf Club.

 

“It was a very enjoyable competition and the awards dinner were huge. He described how it brought people together, and also profiled our sponsors. Times Sport. 

 

“The tournament was a great success. It has shown golf to Rwandans and other countries. People are beginning to love it.” It was fantastic.”

 

Three winners were selected from each category and each received a custom-made golf plaque.

Singh Karan, Ambassador Gedeon Kayinamura and Louis Kamanzi were the top three seniors. Many Killen won the Ladies section with Kane Khan Kheza second.

A raffle was held where one winner could win a ticket that would allow them to fly to any destination Rwandair has flown to for vacation.
