ASIA/CHINA: Priestly ordinations at the solemnity Saints Peter & Paul: Following the example of the Apostles, the mission to evangelisation is strengthened

Beijing (Agenzia Fides – New priestly orders on the solemnity Saints Peter & Paul, June 29, to help give energy to the mission to evangelization in China by strengthening the synodal pathway. Msgr. Paul He Zeqing, Ordinary bishop of the diocese Wanxian presided over the ordination. Joseph Jiang Fuxin studied at the National Seminary. He now serves the diocese. Msgr. Paul He ordained a Deacon.
Two new priests were welcomed by the Diocese in Leshan, Sichuan’s province, on June 29. Agenzia Fides has learned that the newly ordained priests received their baccalaureate in Sichuan at the Major Seminary. They shared their joy with the Catholic community, their sisters, priests, and their families.
Msgr. The death of Msgr. One of these occasions was the solemn ordination of Father Jia Hongwei to the priesthood, which was held on June 13, the feast Saint Anthony of Padua. One year earlier, on May 31, 2021 (the feast of the Visitation to Our Lady), Father Jia Hongwei was ordained a deacon in the presence of Monsignor Wu. Archbishop Meng Ningyou, Taiyuan’s provincial capital, presided over the priestly ordination in Yuncheng Cathedral.
