Information, Communications and The Digital Economy CS Eliud\u00a0Owalo\u00a0has called upon residents of the larger Nyanza region to harness their potential in contributing to the national economy, under the Kenya Kwanza government.<\/p>\n
Owalo\u00a0called on those who are yet to benefit from formal employment to position themselves to\u00a0benefit\u00a0from the Hustler Fund,\u00a0once it is rolled by the President\u00a0on the 1st<\/sup>\u00a0of December 2022.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Fund is intended to open up more opportunities for our youth and women and uplift the welfare of people within this region if we utilize it fully,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The CS stated that anyone interested in the Hustlers Fund should have pre-existing structures in place to be able to benefit from it once it is launched by the President.<\/p>\n Owalo\u00a0was speaking in Siaya, where he was scheduled to give out relief food at Wagai market in Gem Constituency and later in Bondo.<\/p>\n Among those who accompanied Owalo in the food distribution exercise at Wagai market included\u00a0area MP Elisha Odhiambo, former\u00a0gubernatorial aspirant\u00a0Eng. Nicholas Gumbo, former Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma, former Kisumu Senator Fred Outa, and newly appointed Lake Basin Development Authority Chairman James Waore Diang\u2019a.<\/p>\n The CS challenged the regional political class to work together to improve the lives of citizens.<\/p>\n \u201cElection is over, let\u2019s not take much of our time discussing politics, but let us embrace the new government and seek for development,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
