It also highlighted the importance port infrastructures for international trade.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, the parliamentary delegation was given explanations about the port&#8217;s organization and facilities. They also heard about its role as a global logistical gateway and example of global trade integration.<\/p>\n<p>Tanger Med has been ranked the first port to be opened in Africa for five years, and the first port to open in the Mediterranean for two.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThanks to its modern infrastructure and sophisticated technology, the Tanger-Med port has become one of the pioneering maritime platforms in the world,\u201d the head of the delegation, Fortune Zephania commented, calling on Morocco to share its \u201cunprecedented experience\u201d in this area with other African countries.
