TransNamib workers and Namibia Transport and All Allied Workers’ Union officials (Natau), who were on strike, entered TransNamib premises and threatened employees who hadn’t joined the strike.<\/p>\n
TransNamib spokesperson Abigail Raubenheimer said this in a Monday statement. <\/p>\n
Raubenheimer said that these actions have made employees who are not on strike feel unsafe in their work environment. <\/p>\n
\u201cAdditionally, acts of sabotage and malicious damage to property have also taken place, with striking employees damaging company equipment and thereby putting the lives of non-striking employees at risk,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n
Raubenheimer added that the bullying and intimidation tact\u2026<\/p>\n
Update: AR’s Councillor Ilse Kister, who submitted the vote of no confidence against former management committee, was elected as the chairperson for the City’s new management board.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
