Joyclyn Wea<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MONROVIA-Several flood victims in the Barnesville\u00a0Town Hall\u00a0Community have been dragged to court by Cleopatra Wade Cummings, Deputy Protocol Officer to the President.<\/p>\n<p>Cummings\u2019 lawsuit is seeking over Sixty one thousand\u00a0United\u00a0States (US$61,000.00) dollars from the aggrieved flood victims in the Barnesville Town Hall Community.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0action\u00a0before the\u00a0Barnesville\u00a0Magisterial Court\u00a0also\u00a0alleged\u00a0that\u00a0Cummings\u2019\u00a0home was broken into and her phone\u00a0stolen\u00a0upon\u00a0the instruction\u00a0of the community Chairman\u00a0identified as\u00a0Mr.\u00a0Joseph\u00a0Bestman.<\/p>\n<p>Madam Cummings\u2019 lawsuit comes at the time she had been convicted by Criminal Court \u201cA\u201d for stabbing a classroom teacher of GIG International School in the same area but has since allegedly escaped serving her jail term.<\/p>\n<p>The convicted protocol officer was adjoined guilty and due to serve a three-year prison sentence at the Monrovia Central Prison, but has smartly escaped that by taking an appeal before the Honorable Supreme Court, something she\u2019s yet to pursue, since June 26, 2022 (outside the statutory period of 15 days for a person disagreeing with a Judge\u2019s ruling to take appeal).<\/p>\n<p>The flood victims were dragged before the Barnesville Magisterial Court after an agent of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) had allegedly gone to do an assessment of the place following major flooding on July 10,2022, at which time, it was established that the President\u2019s Deputy Protocol Officer Cummings was responsible for the flooding in the area, as her fence was built in the alley.<\/p>\n<p>On this basis, she was phoned by her caretaker on the order of the community\u2019s leader to see how best they can find a solution, but Cummings did not show up, instead, she sent a guy only identified as Matthew, who is also believed to be another care taker of Cummings.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, discussion was unable to take place because the matter was beyond the reach of those who were sent to represent Cummings.<\/p>\n<p>Madam Cummings later complained that her Samsung Galaxy Notes eight edge was taken from her caretaker and other dwellers because she attempted to record the scene and that her fence was broken into.<\/p>\n<p>Cummings told the court during last Thursday\u2019s hearing that her phone manufacturing cost is sold for a thousand plus United States dollars and worth US$9, 50.00 in recent day.<\/p>\n<p>Cummings was asked by the court for a receipt, but she could not produce any. Instead, she displayed a photo of a phone back that she claimed to be the Samsung Galaxy Note eight edge.<\/p>\n<p>Cummings later claimed that the phone was purchased by her brother, who is currently in America.
