The Cabinet approved Frans Kapofi’s request to exhume and rebury martyrs’ bodies nationwide.<\/b><\/p>\n
Peya Mushelenga, minister of information technology, stated in a Wednesday media release that the exhumation would take place with the assistance and support of the technical committee.<\/p>\n
\u201cCabinet authorised the ministries of defence and veteran affairs to continue making budgetary provisions informed by in-depth analysis of the cost implications until the exhumation and reinternment of the remains of all martyrs are completed in all regions within the shortest possible time,\u201d Mushelenga said.<\/p>\n
He stated that Cabinet had directed Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture, to consider building a shrine national at the Kunene burial site.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
