It aims to bring to realization the purpose of youths and support them at the peak time of their heat by cooling them through music.<br \/>The new music program supports Sprite\u2019s new global brand narrative, Heat Happens, that positions the brand as the drink that helps you cool down in the face of every day heated moments. It is one musical starting point that has been reinterpreted using different creative and cultural lenses. The program was made available for public consumption via streaming services.<br \/>Sprite Limelight is an international music program that was created in collaboration and featuring an exceptional and diverse collection from international musical talents. It is hosted by James Blake, a Grammy-winning producer and Mercury Prize Winner. The Sprite limelight song will be available for streaming on various streaming platforms on the 29th July.<br \/>James Blake will provide a central hook and lyric narrative, rooted in the core Limelight philosophy of keeping life\u2019s heat at bay, with three distinctive global artists, who in turn have taken the hook and used it to inspire and create their own completely original songs.<br \/>In Nigeria, Sprite Limelight will be headlined by the popular Omah Lay, Nigerian singer, songwriter and social sensation whose self-produced track \u2018Bad Influence\u2019 garnered viral status; and who remains a teen sensation across the country. With Omah Lay leading the Nigerian front alongside two other global music stars, the campaign seeks to inspire Nigerians and young artistes with fresh perspectives, music, and experiences, vocalizing the brand\u2019s resolve to help Gen. Zs not to lose their cool to the heated moments of everyday life.<br \/>The campaign also features Coi, an American rapper who has worked previously with Nikki Minaj, and Hua Chenyu from China. Hua Chenyu&#8217;s unique fusion between C-Pop music and rock sold out shows at Olympic-sized stadiums in just minutes. All artistes were chosen for their authentic and original styles.<br \/>Omah Lay spoke to him about the Sprite Limelight project and expressed optimism and excitement over the work that was done to deliver an incredible sound and experience for the Nigerian audience. \u201cIt means a lot to me to be part of the Sprite Limelight Program, an incredible opportunity for me to share my culture with the world. I feel blessed to stand among these other amazing artistes to bring something refreshing and positive to the world; big Shout out to James Blake for masterminding the music, absolute Legend!\u201d, he remarked.<br \/>According to Bunmi Adeniba, Coca-Cola Nigeria\u2019s Marketing Director, \u201cSprite Limelight seeks to help keep the youths clear-headed, encouraging them not to lose themselves to the heat of the world during their discovery stage\u201d.<br \/>She stated that Sprite would connect music lovers through music that speaks directly to their lives. The platform will feature music from fearless artists who use their creativity to create music that fans love and music they can relate to to.<br \/>\u201cHeat is the occasion, Sprite is the solution, and music is the connection\u201d, she asserted.<br \/>YouTube and Spotify will both have original content available as individual tracks and as music films in artistic documentary-style.
