MONROVIA – President George M Weah sent a congratulatory note to the Government of the United States for the historic occasion of the 246th Independence Anniversary of the country on July 4, 2022.<\/p>\n
President Weah, on behalf the Government of Liberia, sent a message to U.S. President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., extending heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Government of the United States as it celebrates this historic milestone.<\/p>\n
The Liberian leader also spoke out to recall the historical bonds of friendship and cooperation that have existed between the two nations and peoples. These bonds continue to be strengthened.<\/p>\n
President\u00a0Weah\u00a0further added that as Liberia\u2019s closest traditional partner, his government will continue to engage positively with the United States to build on the two countries\u2019 strong existing bilateral framework; as well as to cooperate with the United States in the fight to achieve and sustain international peace and security.<\/p>\n
The Liberian President then prayed that the Almighty God will endow President Biden with abundant wisdom, good health and happiness\u00a0as he leads the people of the United States to a prosperous future.<\/p>\n
