MONROVIA-The General Manager of Manco Manufacturing Company(Manco), Assad Fadel has made a cash donation of US$25,000 (Twenty five thousand united states dollars) towards the rehabilitation of \u00a0\u00a0At-Risk -Youth (ARY) in the country.\u00a0 He made the donation to the official program aimed at raising money to rehabilitate disadvantaged youth known as \u201cZogos\u201d.<\/p>\n
Following the National Fund Drive by the At Risk-Youths rehabilitation program and Empowerment program at Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex on Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex, Mr. Fadel thanked the government of Liberia to engage in rehabilitation-of-the At-Risk -Youths from various Montserrado Ghettos.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the Ministerial Complex’s one-day conference on Thursday, June 30, 20,22, Mr. Fadel stated his willingness to hire those At-Risk-Youths who graduate from the rehabilitation program.<\/p>\n
He noted, \u201cWe have been planning and working along with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to help the young people of Liberia.\u201d<\/p>\n
The government has raised US$13.9M over a ten-year span to assist with rehabilitation of disadvantaged young people. Even though the president initially contributed more than one million dollars, the government made a second contribution.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs my father used to tell me, it is a country that is free in accepting other people from different countries.\u201d Mr. Fadel told the conference delegates.<\/p>\n
He stated that today, the name Zogos has been changed to a more appropriate name so that people can recognize them for being better citizens.<\/p>\n
Manco remains open to assist the Ministry of Youth and Sports with helping to develop the minds of At-Risk Youth in Liberia.<\/p>\n
Manco is willing to sponsor any At-Risk-Youth who graduate from any university in Liberia’s rehabilitation program.<\/p>\n
\u201cI consider myself as a citizen by choice of Liberia\u201d, Mr. Fadel said.<\/p>\n
Manco has planned to extend working hands with the Minister of Youth and Sports,\u00a0 Hon. Zeogar Wilson.<\/p>\n
