At the Women’s World Junior Handball Championship, which is currently taking place in Slovenia, African teams have performed well. Three countries from the black continent have won their tickets to the main round. These are Angola Tunisia and Egypt. Only Guinea was left behind. It is therefore a 3 from 4 for African handball.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Angola at its highest <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Angola has again shown that it is the n\u00b01 of the black continent in Junior Women’s World Handball Championship<\/a>. With four points, the Angolans were the winners of Group E. However, the Palancras Negras were defeated in their first match against Romania (26-23) Angola is not giving in. The African champions won their two previous group matches against the Czech Republic (36-25) and Lithuania (31-18). Angola will be competing in the main round with Germany and Slovenia.<\/p>\n

Tunisia surpasses itself<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tunisia won the world junior women’s handball title. With four points, Tunisia finished second in Pool A. They beat Iran and Guinea. These two countries are at the bottom of the list with just one point. The head of this group is Sweden, which has fallen from Tunisia. The Tunisians, who qualified for their first round in their history, were successful bets. They now find themselves in Group I alongside the Netherlands, Sweden, Japan.<\/p>\n

Egypt is the sensation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This Junior Women’s World Handball Championship is a huge success. Egypt, whose best finish was 20th at Russia 2016, reached this year’s main round. After being beaten by Hungary (39-20), the Egyptians regain their composure in the second match. They surprise Poland (27-25), and offer themselves the United States (34-11) during their last pool match. This success propels them to second position in Pool H, with four points. The fourth group includes Hungary, Switzerland, Croatia and Croatia for the main round.<\/p>\n

The main round matches start on Sunday, June 26.<\/p>\n
