PRESIDENT Hage Geingob says he has learnt with sadness about the death of Irene Neto, the sister of Angola’s first president, the late Ant\u00f2nio Agostinho Neto. Irene, who was 97 years old, died in Luanda (Angola’s capital) on Sunday.<\/b><\/p>\n
In a social media post on Wednesday, Geingob said Irene served Angola’s ruling party, the Movimento Popular de Liberta\u00e7\u00e3o de Angola (MPLA), bravely to free Angola from colonialism.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur sincere condolences to the Neto family and our sister party, MPLA,\u201d he said in his post.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
