Eritrea: Elections of area administrators and managing directors – African Business

Elections for area administrators were held in 13 Barentu area administrations.

30 area administrators and managing director, 10 of them women, were elected at the elections held in the administrative regions of Amta.

Mr. Yemane Mehari was appointed acting administrator of the subzone. He thanked the outgoing area administrators as well as the managing directors for their contribution and asked the newly elected to give their all to the people they were elected to serve.

Recognizing the responsibility that they have been given, the newly elected area administrators and managing director expressed their willingness to help strengthen the organization of the people who elected them.
