Toronto (SONNA) – Fardawso Igal, Transport and Aviation Minister, met with Somali communities in Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto, Canada.
During her remarks at the open gathering, Ms Igal candidly applauded Somali diaspora’s role to the rebuilding efforts of the nation.
She strongly urged the community to supporting government’s initiatives of helping facing people effected by drought and climate change.
“Elsewhere, you must involve on the fast-track and ongoing struggle of liberating the country from Al-Shabab terror group,” she added.
Finally, the Minister thanked all the leaders for their warm welcome and their encouragement to serve the nation.
