SONNA – The Permanent Representative of the Federal Government of Somalia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Ibrahim Adem Musa, met at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Makkah Division in the city of Jeddah, his counterpart, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Salah Bin Hamad Al – Suhaybani,.

They discussed ways to encourage cooperation and consultation between the various Permanent Missions in light of the work and concerns that the Organization and the joint systems, and to serve Islamic questions by addressing the challenges.

The two sides discussed topics such as how to work together to serve the goals of OIC and special organizations that are related, how to support them in the relationship of brotherhood, solidarity with all members of the Union, and how to protect their common interests.

During the meeting, “Dr. Ibrahim praised efforts of the Government to build the Haram mosques, as well as the unwavering efforts of Saudi Arabia to support Somalia, in order to achieve peace, stability, and development. He also praised the people’s support. “The generous humanitarian and various assistance and development contributions that the Kingdom has given and continues to give by the King Salman Center for Relief and Charitable Activities, and the coordination and cooperation between the Center and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to serve human activities and the collective humanity of Islam.
