New Period managing editor Johnathan Beukes has been suspended.
This was confirmed by the chief govt of the state-owned New Period Publication Company, Christof Maletsky, on Monday afternoon.
Maletsky stated the rationale for the suspension of Beukes can’t be disclosed, as it’s “an inner matter”.
