A 22-year-old man has been arrested whereas one other one is at giant after they allegedly raped a 19-year-old woman at Kambimba village within the Mukwe constituency.
In accordance with Kavango East performing regional commander, deputy commissioner Bonifatius Kanyetu, the incident occurred on Tuesday at about 02h00.
Kanyetu mentioned the 2 allegedly pulled the sufferer from her bed room and dragged her to a water level, the place they compelled her to have sexual activity.
“The arrested suspect is at present detained on the Divundu Police Station, whereas the second suspect, who is understood to the police, is at present on the run. Police investigations are underway and a case of rape has been registered on the Mukwe Police Station,” Kanyetu mentioned.
