A senior delegation from the Russian Federation, headed by Mr. Sergey Lavrov, Foreign Minister, and Mr. Mikhail Bogdanov (Deputy Foreign Minister), arrived in Massawa today for a one day official visit to Eritrea.
At Massawa International Airport, Mr. Sergey Lavrov, his delegation, and other senior officials from the Government, received a warm welcome.
Sergey Lavrov, the Foreign Minister, will meet President Isaias Asfwerki to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments that are of interest to both countries.
In Massawa, Mr. Osman Saleh will be joined by Mr. Sergey Lavrov for a joint press conference.
