King Mohammed VI sends messages to presidents of Djibouti, Somalia – The North Africa Post

Ismail Omar Guelleh was received Wednesday by Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid (Royal Envoy to Djibouti), who gave him a written message of King Mohammed VI.

In a statement to the press after the audience, Bensaid, who is Morocco’s Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, said that the royal message he delivered to President Ismail Omar Guelleh is about bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them in all areas.

Bensaid said that the audience was an opportunity for Bensaid to reaffirm and strengthen the historical relations between Morocco, Djibouti and Djibouti.

The Minister said that bilateral relations between Rabat (Djibouti) were marked by mutual respect and multifaceted cooperation. He also spoke out to highlight the fact that cooperation in all areas will continue thanks to the willingness to meet the aspirations and aspirations of the brotherly peoples.

Tuesday was Benasid’s visit to Mogadishu, where he presented Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud (President of the Federal Republic of Somalia), a written message from King Mohammed VI.

The audience had the opportunity to discuss bilateral relations between Somalia, Morocco, and to emphasize the need to elevate these relations to higher levels.

In a statement to the press after the audience, Bensaïd underlined the distinguished quality of relations between the two countries, noting that Morocco has always stood by Somalia and its brotherly people.

The Minister reiterated that the leaders of both countries are willing to increase bilateral action and coordination at every level of regional and international mechanisms.

Bensaïd added that Morocco is willing to share its experience in all fields with the Republic of Somalia.
