Auditor General holds a meeting with the Federal Parliament’s Committees of Finance – Somali National News Agency

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Auditor General of Somalia, Mr. Mohamed Mohamud Ali, held a meeting with the Committee on Budget, Finance, Planning, and International Cooperation and Public Accountability of the Federal Government of the Somali Parliament.
The Auditor General shared with the members the Parliament Finance Committees a brief report about the most important points from the recently published 2021 Annual Reports.
The meeting also discussed the acceleration of the efforts by the Office of the Auditor General to correct its mistakes and the role of the Finance Committee when it comes to accountability for the particular government agencies that are concerned.
