Sanwo-Olu Felicitates Gac Leader, Tajudeen Olusi At 86

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwoo-Olu, congratulated the Leader of Governance Advisory Council (GAC), which is the highest leadership of the All Progressives Congress of Nigeria (APC) in Lagos on his 86th Birthday.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary Mr. Gboyega Akosile issued on Thursday, Governor Sanwo-Olu referred to Prince Olusi as a visionary leader who has contributed greatly to the development and growth in Nigeria and Lagos State in all areas of life.

He also thanked the former National vice chairman (South-West), Action Congress, and son of the late King Sanusi Olusi Oba of Lagos for his commitment, exemplary leadership, continued contributions to the advancement of Lagos State as well as the ruling party at the state and national levels.
Sanwo-Olu also praised Prince Olusi’s commitment to party politics, public service and good governance. He described the GAC leader, who is an epitome in honesty, dedication, and service, and has used his leadership positions for the betterment of the lives of those within his spheres.

The Governor stated that the older statesman is still a leader in Nigeria and Lagos and deserves to be celebrated for his dedication to politics and public service. 

He said: “On behalf of my adorable wife, Ibijoke, the good people and government of Lagos State and entire members of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), I rejoice with our father and eminent leader, Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, on his 86th birthday.

“Prince Tajudeen Olusi is a true democrat and one of the trusted members of the progressive camp, who has been playing active roles in party politics and governance in Nigeria for several decades. He is one of Chief Obafemi, the late Sage,’s firm followers and disciples and has always been progressive in promoting democracy as well as good governance.

“He is one of the respected leaders of our party who have contributed immensely to the development and growth of Lagos State and politics for over six decades as a member of the progressive camp not only in our dear Lagos State but South-West and entire Nigeria.

“As Prince Tajudeen Olusi celebrates his 86th birthday, I pray that God will continue to bless him with more years of joy and good health for him to render more service to our dear party, humanity and Lagos State.”
