Hargeisa, (SONNA) – One of the most famous and legendary Somali singers Khadra Dahir Cige passed away after being ill for some time in Hargeisa tonight.
Their brother Adar Ahmad Kahin confirmed the death. Khadra Dahir Cige, who joined the arts community back in 1974, was an important figure in Somalian art.
Poet Abdikadir Shube, Director of Poetry and Awareness Council, and Mohamed Hassan Barrow Deputy Director of Council offered their condolences to Khadra Dhahir Cige.
