Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Abdirahman Duale Beyle, in a brief interview with the national media, announced the opening of the budget supplement to Somalia’s government, which has been in place for some time after President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with officials from the world economy.
The Federal Government, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), will work together to release what was previously frozen.
“The budget subsidy is opening, it is for us and there is no problem for us now, all that remains is to start and deploy, what has started,” Minister Beyle said.
Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, heads of the Ministry of Finance and international financial institutions discussed economic reforms and the Bank’s support to Somalia.
