SONNA – The Chairman of Electoral Fee of Somalia’s Puntland State, Guled Saleh and his Deputy Jama Hersi have resigned on Sunday with out additional explanations. They led the group for two years and held municipal elections.
“This morning I submitted a letter of resignation to the members of the Puntland Transitional Electoral Fee, and I additionally shared a letter with the Speaker of Parliament resigning from the fee I had served for 2 and a half years,” stated, Guled Salah Barre.
“I had deliberate to be a part of the onerous work of the senior members and employees of the committee for the Puntland neighborhood, however resulting from circumstances, I made a decision to vacate the place,” Guled stated.
